Plasma Projects

Media Wall, Plasma Fire, Remote Lighting

These clients already had a basic plasma installation, on a flat wall, in a regular living space. Their equipment was on a stand in the corner beside the screen. We built a chimney breast in the center of the long wall as the clients wanted to view from both the sitting and the dining areas. Apertures were made so that the screen, equipment and fire could all be completely flush, (even though the fire manufacturers said this was not possible) this was made possible by the depth of the chimney breast we built. With some existing chimney breasts they may not be quite deep enough to house equipment comfortably. We fitted coving around the top of the breast, leaving a gap between the ceiling and the coving.

White led lighting was installed behind so the top of the breast is lit. Once again backlighting was installed behind the screen to give a blue hue between the screen and the frame. All colours are possible as well as changeable. Bespoke black frames were designed and fitted around the screen and the channel underneath that housed the sky box and dvd player etc.As the client did not want to see any equipment we designed a matching black glass door which still allowed remote use and opened easily for dvd insertion.

We wallpapered with the customers own choice of paper. We carry out all plastering and woodwork so that every aspect of the 'job' is perfect.
